Brian Epp is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in medical device compliance, risk management, and regulatory standards. With over a decade in the industry, he has worked extensively in product development, sustaining engineering, and international regulatory compliance for medical electrical equipment.

Before founding True Path Compliance Partners, Brian held senior engineering roles at multiple industry leading medical device manufacturers, where he led complex projects involving IEC 60601-1 compliance, quality systems, and risk management. His experience as a Medical Team Lead at a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory—where he directly oversaw IEC 60601-1 evaluations and lab accreditations—provides him with a deep understanding of both compliance challenges and practical solutions.

Brian holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, where he focused on medical device development, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University. His technical expertise includes IEC 60601-1 testing, regulatory strategy, and engineering solutions that balance compliance with innovation.
